From Monday 29 January Galway City Council will implement the following parking charges:

On-street car parking from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday inclusive will cost €2 for one hour and €4 for the maximum stay of two hours. The daily rate for off-street parking in long term car parks at Dyke Road, College Road and Cathedral car parks is €4 from Monday to Saturday inclusive from 8.30am to 6.30pm.

Off-street parking in short-term car parks at Bowling Green and Mill Street, Monday to Saturday inclusive, is €2 for one hour, €4 for one to two hours, €5.40 for two to three hours, €6.80 for three to four hours, €8.20 for four to five hours, €9.60 for five to six hours, €11 for six to seven hours, €12.40 for seven to eight hours, €13.80 for eight to nine hours, and €15.20 for the day rate.
