Feeling musically minded this Christmas season? Guitar Made Easy is a 12-week course that teaches participants everything they need to know about playing the guitar.

Suitable for complete beginners of all age, classes start in early January 2008 at venues in Oranmore (Monday 7 January), Galway (Tuesday 8 January), Tuam (Wednesday 9 January) and Castlebar (Thursday 10 January).

Commenting on the course, Kevin McNicholas, course tutor, said, "The classes are designed to be fast, fun and easy. No prior musical knowledge is required, just a love of music and 30 minutes a day to practice. The classes are structured in such a way that you can expect to learn in 12 weeks what it would take you 12 to 18 months to learn if you tried to teach yourself."

Places on the course are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Participants need to supply their own guitar.
