Interested parties are being invited to take part in the Clifden Lifeboat 10k Race, which will take place on Sunday 14 September.

Would-be contestants can enter under a number of categories from runners to walkers and childrens and teams. Teams of four or five people can enter. The race is aimed at all ages and levels of fitness.

The route will take walkers up the Sky Road where walkers will be able to enjoy the scenery and views.

There will be many prizes on the day and all proceeds will go to the Clifden Lifeboat.
