Local charity Croí are offering CPR Training (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for members of the general public and family and friends of people living with heart disease in the Gort area on Tuesday 23 September in the Gort Community School, Gort, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. CPR is an easily learned rescue technique for someone whose heart and/or breathing has stopped. Research shows that the majority of sudden cardiac deaths are witnessed by a family member or a friend, but not enough of Irish people have learned CPR, a skill which could literally mean the difference between life or death.

To book your place call Alma now on 091-769866. A nominal fee admission fee of €10 (€5 students) applies when booking.
