A planning application has been submitted to Galway City Council this week by the Sisters of Mercy, Western Province.

The Sisters are applying for planning permission for the redevelopment of their surplus lands at St Anne's, Taylor's Hill. The site extends to just under five hectares and a mixed residential development is proposed comprising 128 residential units including apartments and duplexes, town houses, semi detached and detached homes.

Designed by local architects Simon J Kelly and Partners, the scheme has an emphasis on low density, high quality housing. A cr?che will also be provided in the scheme.
