Clár funding of €120,437 has been allocated to Poppyhill Group Water Scheme, in Kiloran, Co Galway.

This will enable a total value of works amounting to €258,330 to be carried out. The remaining amount will be paid by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and by private contribution from the group members.

A total of 16 households will benefit from the scheme with savings of €7,527 per household. This brings to 644 the number of domestic connections, which have been approved funding from CLÁR in County Galway from 2002 to date under this scheme.
