Gardaí in Galway are appealing for assistance in catching a laptop thief, who has stolen laptops from the Liosbaun Industrial Estate, Woodquay and Castlelawn Heights.

Over a period from Friday night until Sunday evening, the laptop lifter stole a number of laptops and some small quantities of cash from premises in these areas. The laptops may contain important private company data. The thief or possibly thieves could easily sell on the machines to unsuspecting customers, who would be receiving stolen goods.

Gardaí at Galway Garda Station at Millstreet are asking anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour in any of the three separate locations around the city to alert them immediately on 091-538000.
