The incident occurred between 2am and 4am, when a maroon Ford Galaxy Estate was set on fire behind the Western Tavern in Westside. The vehicle was completely destroyed as a result of the fire.

Anyone with information relating to this incident or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area on Sunday morning, is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
