After the budget, Finance Minister Brian Cowen is the hot favourite to replace Bertie Ahern as the next leader of Fianna Fáil, while the nearest challenger, Micheál Martin, is at 13/2.

For those looking for an outside bet, rebel TD Ned O'Keeffe is 200/1 to lead the party and the controversial Beverly Cooper Flynn is also at 100/1, despite the fact she has yet to be welcomed back into the fold.
