Gardaí have named the victim of a road traffic accident in Cork on
Saturday night, 20 January, as 21-year-old David O' Flaherty of
Murrough, Co. Galway.
The trainee carpenter was walking on the Cork to Macroom Road at Ovens when he was struck by a car coming in the opposite direction. It is believed he was then hit by another car. He was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. |
