Galway’s most stylish women will head to Ballinasloe tonight for the October Fair fashion show.

The show, which takes place tonight at 8pm in the Carlton Shearwater Hotel, will see the Celia Holman Lee model agency showcasing fashions from local boutiques and outlets including Diva Woman, Sarah Parker’s, Kathleen’s Boutique, Noel Mannion’s Sports Warehouse, and Suenos as well as hats and head pieces by Suzie O’Mahony.

This glittering affair will take place for the first time this year and promises to be a great night out. Exhibition stands will include Astara Beauty Salon, Mary Dolan style and image consultancy, Curves and a reflexology therapist. Throughout the night attendees will be treated to all sorts of goodies and spot prizes. The charity raffle offers fantastic prizes kindly donated by local businesses including a €250 voucher for computer training at Brooks Solutions and vouchers from the Carlton Shearwater Hotel.

Proceeds from the night will go to Cope, the Galway charity which provides services for people at risk, meals on wheels for senior citizens as well as refuge for women and the homeless.

Tickets are available from participating stores, the Carlton Shearwater Hotel and the Ballinasloe Fair and Festival office or by phoning 09096-44793.
