A young boy from Rahoon in Galway does a double take at Dolan's Art Auction House. Matthew Flaherty, aged two and a half years, caught people by surprise with his uncanny resemblance to the boy in 'Buachaill Óg', a painting by Donegal artist Robert Taylor Carson, which was painted in the 1940s.

This painting is just one of the 200 Irish paintings which will go under the hammer on Monday 19 November at 6.30pm in the Marriott Hotel Galway.

A selection of the works on offer are currently on view in Dolan's new offices and showrooms at No. 11, Woodquay, For further information, phone 091-569300.
