With the People in Need Telethon just around the corner, Oliver Walsh Motors in Clare have kindly sponsored the People in Need Telethon car for the 2007 campaign.
Pictured accepting the Hyundai Sante Fe on behalf of the Galway campaign is the Co-ordinator for People in Need for Galway City and County, Hildegarde Naughton with Oliver Walsh.
The People in Need Trust was established in May 1988 with the purpose of raising and distributing money to charitable organisations throughout Ireland. Telethon Day is Friday 26 October. All money raised in Galway stays in Galway and is distributed in grants ranging from €150 to €50,000 throughout the city and county. The Galway office will be up and running in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre in the coming weeks. For further information contact Hildegarde on 085-7531018 or log on to www.telethon.ie to register events.
