Photo: Reg Gordon Galway's most eagerly anticipated ball, the Maroon and White Ball, will take place in the Radisson SAS hotel on November 9. This exciting black-tie event is all about Galway. All proceeds from the Maroon and White ball will go to The Alan Kerin's African Projects and The Sunflowers Chernobyl Appeal. Throw-in is at 7pm and you can expect to be entertained from the moment you arrive. Guests will be greeted with a drinks reception followed by a gala dinner, and Galway's very own Michael Lyster will host the night. With top musicians, singers, dancers and performers on hand to delight guests throughout the evening, you will need to be fit to make it to the final whistle. Player of the Year Awards will be presented by Evanne N? Chuillinn and Darragh Maloney of the Sunday Game, and Sin?ad N? Neachtain, editor of Galway Now magazine will also present a very special prize to the Best 'Togged' Lady. The Maroon and White Ball is proudly sponsored by the Galway Independent and Impact Media.
