Clarenbridge Lifestyle Garden Centre has come together with Clarenbridge Tidy Towns Committee to organise a competition for the best-presented front garden in the village and surrounding area.

David Farragher from the garden centre has donate a prize of a €250 voucher for the winner of the competition. The gardens in the area will be judged on the best use of plants to enhance the appearance of the front of their property.

Judging will take place in the second week of July. There is no need to enter as judging will be done a random basis.

"Our judge will drive around the village for two days to access the gardens but, rather than people entering the competition, he will look at all of the gardens and rate them accordingly," said Mr Farragher.
