A golf classic in aid of the Alan Kerins African Projects charity will take place in Cregmore next month.

The classic will be held in Cregmore Golf Club on Friday 5 September. A team of four will cost €200.

Alan set up the charity after a visit to the Cheshire Home for Physically Disabled Children, in Mongu, Western Zambia in 2005. To date his fundraising campaign has raised over a quarter of a million euro for AIDS orphans, water schemes, food aid, school buildings, housing development, childcare and rehabilitation.
