A discussion on abortion in Ireland is to be held tonight, marking the end of International Women's Day.
The meeting is arranged for 8.30pm tonight, Wednesday 10 March, in Richardson's upstairs meeting room in Eyre Square.
The discussion is titled 'Abortion in Ireland: access denied!'
Sinead Kennedy, of 'The Alliance for Choice' and participant in the
'Feminist Open Forum', will discuss the pro-choice arguments and give updates on the situation in Ireland today.
Ms Kennedy, a university lecturer, is appearing in a personal capacity.
Anyone who wishes to discuss the pro-choice case for abortion and women's rights is welcome to attend this meeting, which is being hosted by Socialist Workers Party, Galway.
