The Ardilaun Hotel will host an exclusive event on Saturday 23 August. Conor Kenny and Associates, consultants to the hospitality industry in Ireland, will work in conjunction with The Ardilaun team to produce 'A Real Galway Banquet,' featuring star chefs and experts, Fred Cordonnier, John Healy and Nick Munier.

According to Conor Kenny, the best way to learn is to understand, and the best way to understand is to learn through action.

"Today, guests and hotels seek something different, imaginative and exciting. That is why Conor Kenny and Associates have got together with Galway's iconic Ardilaun Hotel, to create a great Irish feast and five star training for rising stars of the Ardilaun team."

This fascinating, interactive, and fun evening is all about stars, be they Michelin stars, TV stars or, most importantly, Ardilaun team members who are about to become stars and learn through the stars.

Reserve your ticket in advance and be treated like a star. Take a look at The Ardilaun website www.theardilaunhotel.ie and see how you too can enjoy a night of fine, fabulous, fun dining where it is all about stars.

As part of the The Ardilaun's Galway Races 2008 project, three Galway milliners were invited to feature as part of the campaign highlighting the hotel's sponsorship of the Best Hat competition in association with Galway Races Ladies Day Best Dressed Lady.

The three special hats will be auctioned at this event, to raise funds for the Irish Kidney Association. The hats, 'Going for Gold', 'Royal Admiral' and 'Summer Solstice,' which have been based on the colours of the Galway Races, were exclusively designed for this project by Galway milliners Emily-Jean O'Byrne, Suzie Mahony and Jaime McEleney.
