Over €10, 000 (€10,752) has been allocated by the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, to enable Coiste Pobail an Tulaigh to expand and refurbish the car park at Halla na Tulaigh, an Tulach, Baile na hAbhann, Co. Galway.

According to Minister Eamon O Cuív, "The work done by local development committees to build and to develop these sorts of facilities contributes greatly to the social life of the Gaeltacht. The car park will be of use to the National School and to the Summer Colleges as well as to Halla na Tulaigh itself."
