![]() One of the most reliable collections every year for pretty summer dresses and smart tailored work wear is Karen Millen, and this season's spring/summer line is no exception. Karen Millen's spring collection introduces a new lightness with a focus on transparent organza and chiffon. Tailoring takes a retro trip in safari shapes and sexy 70s silhouettes, while eveningwear focuses on sculptural ruffles and frills. With key themes of eccentricity, safari, weekend chic and cocktail dressing, this collection offers something for everyone. One of our favourite looks from this season is the crisp white wrap shift dress (€240). The clean lines are perfect for work or play this summer, while the colour will flatter any hint of a tan. Another very versatile outfit is this fabulous red organza blouse (€180) and grey bow belt pencil skirt (€180). While many designers are shunning the pencil skirt for a more voluminous 50s look, this smart skirt is still a great look for the office and the detailing on the shirt adds a pretty flourish. Finally, if you are looking for something to wear to that summer wedding, why not stand out from the crowd in this canary yellow crystal beaded tiered dress (€265). The structured corset top will flatter any figure while the flowing skirt and detailing will take attention away from any wobbly bits! The Karen Millen spring/summer collection is in shops now. |
