From pottery to stained glass, taking up a course could be the chance you need to embrace your creative side. Not only will you be able to learn a new skill, but also you can unwind from the working day and meet new people at the same time.

The latest mental health campaign has received the backing of Galway West Deputy Frank Fahey. He has urged people to use the latest mental health campaign to address the issue in their families and communities.

"Mental health must be worked on like physical health. If you are having problems, it helps to talk to someone you trust about how you are feeling," said Deputy Fahey.

"People can be very busy rushing from place to place but it is important to take time out for yourself and for your mental health. Like working out in the gym for the benefit of your physical health, you must take time out to do something you enjoy for your mental health.

"And most importantly, if you are having problems, it is important to talk you someone," he concluded.
