A health information evening will take place in the Marriott Hotel at 7.30pm this evening, Wednesday 16 January, as part of Health Action Week. Health Action Week, organised by VIVAS Health, is taking place until Friday 18 January to encourage Irish consumers to take more control over their health. The health information evening is free and will provide parents with expert advice on first aid for kids and kids' nutrition. Information on health insurance and what cover is particularly important for your stage in life will also be available. Light refreshments will be served. Health Action Week will feature a series of free health events and information throughout the week. A website, www.healthaction.ie, will provide tips and guidelines each day on how to stay healthy and fit in 2008, as well as providing details on the various Health Action Week events and access to literature on various health topics. Discussing the Health Action Week event, Oliver Tattan, Chief Executive, VIVAS Health said: "It's important that people in Ireland start to take more control of their health. January is a good time of the year for people to take stock of their health and to implement changes in their lifestyle. "The health information evening in the Marriott Hotel will allow those in the Galway area to avail of free health expertise and to receive useful information on keeping their family healthy through 2008." Hennelly Financial Services, local agents for VIVAS Health, will also be on hand on the night to answer any questions people may have on VIVAS Health plans and benefits. To register for this event or for more information on VIVAS Health, contact Helena Hennelly on 091-586500 or 086-8095607 for further information. |
