I will be continuing with my series on dressing for the party season and all that it entails over the next number of weeks, as there are never too many options when it comes to dressing up.

This week I have chosen a beautiful bodice detail full-skirted dress from ASOS.com. This mainly black dress is very elegant, while the bodice will give great shape to the upper body. It is priced at a very reasonable £38.

I have teamed this dress with these almost smoky salmon coloured lace-up shoes. These shoes are a very practical shoe and add an injection of much needed colour to this outfit. They are from Office and are priced at £55.

To complete this look, I have added a large Persian disc necklace to draw the eye down and therefore elongating the torso. This amazing creation is from Topshop.com and is priced at £18.

To keep this outfit on the funky contemporary side, I would add a bang on trend black leather jacket. I have chosen this Victorian leather jacket, priced at £120, from Topshop.com. This will add another dimension to this outfit.
