The top two skin concerns for women aged 45 and 50 are loss of skin firmness and deep wrinkles. Now, a new anti-ageing product from Vichy Laboratories has been targeted particularly at 40 to 50 year old women. It contains breakthrough technology said to guarantee an improvement in appearance.

The Continuous Release formula is a technological leap. It is inspired by pharmaceutical research into prolonged-release medicines, which allows for the durable and effective treatment of certain pathologies. The second innovative breakthrough of LiftActiv CxP is a biological lifting effect, where active ingredients are diffused into skin in continuous release for breakthrough efficacy.

When LiftActiv CxP is applied to the skin, the active ingredients are stored in the corneal layer. Over a period of 24 hours, the active ingredients are gradually absorbed by the dermis so as to work on the collagen and elastin fibres.

Most importantly, because of the bathing effect of the tissues in active ingredients, Vichy says the product works to trigger the multiplication and reinforcement of the cells responsible for creating young fibres. Skin is re-tautened, firmed and lifted, and wrinkles are continuously retracted, even after discontinuing treatment.
