The smoky eye is set to make a comeback for Autumn Winter, so get stocking up on those smouldering shades now!

One of our favourite new products this season is the Shimmer Cubes palette from the Body Shop, which provides a sparkling pageant of colour. Encapsulating the mood of the season and the shades of the skies, this palette includes four different shades from intense greys to crisp, chilled blues, greyish purple tinges and an intense violet blue.

Each cube provides sparkle, helping to disguise fine lines on the eyelids, while light defusing pearls and pearl pigments join forces with Community Trade marula oil, ensuring a soft and smooth application. Use separately or combine your cubic colours for a more dramatic appearance, or apply wet for increased depth of colour and a superlative metallic finish.

The four colours complement each other perfectly, meaning that you can experiment with your eye make-up while avoiding any major disasters. I also found that it lasted well and didn't smudge like many other darker eye colours. Better still, the four shades are held in their own individual plastic containers, so if handbag space is at a minimum, then you can just bring whichever colours you need!
