![]() I have always been a bit sceptical when it comes to compact foundations, but this new Color Ideal Hydra Compact has completely restored my faith. This product can best be described as a concealer foundation, as it comes in nine natural shades, which blend with your skin tone to leave you with an even and glowing complexion. Instead of the heavy foundations usually found in compacts, this new skin-perfecting formula is very light and glides on for a fabulous natural look. After trying this out once, I am completely converted and it now holds pride of place in my make-up bag. Apart from the great texture, the next best thing about the Color Ideal compact is the presentation. The foundation comes in a chic black compact complete with latex sponge and large mirror – perfect for touching up on the go. And the good news keeps coming, Color Ideal Hydra Compact is also enriched with ingredients to give extra care for skin including SPF10 and vitamins E and B5 for effective protection from ageing, as well as glycerine to continuously hydrate the skin for eight hours. The compact costs €40.50, while refills are priced at €32. Both are available from the Lancome counter at Brown Thomas. |
