Mavala Nail Shield is a two-part nail strengthener consisting of a top coat with nylon fibres to create a strong protective layer, followed by a sealer to create a smooth strong finish. This product is great for people with soft nails that are slow to grow or as a base for dry flaky nails, as they are left smooth and ridge free, ready for a coat of your favourite polish!

One of the most appealing things about this set is that it is so easy to apply. First you apply one coat of the nylon fibre base and allow to dry. It forms a hard coat, which will be slightly rough. Next you simply apply the peachy sealer coat on top and leave to dry. If it still feels rough, just apply a second coat. The result: smooth, even, shiny nails that won't chip or break.

This product was easy to use and even the most inexperienced of users can't go wrong. The polishes had a nice consistency and went on easily, although I did find that I needed the second coat of sealer to get a perfectly smooth finish. I also found my nail polish was a lot easier to apply afterwards as my nails had no chips or peels, so I was left with lovely smooth colour. It also makes an excellent base coat for dark polishes, as it stops colour staining nails, even during long term wear.

This polish lasted for well over a week and my nails felt noticeably stronger after use. Definitely a must-have for people with weak nails that just won't grow.
