Layering can transform your hair but maintaining that bouncy salon-style at home can often be difficult.

However, the new Enhanced Layers range of styling products from Pantene promises to help you make the most of your style by adding volume and movement.

Having recently added some layers to my hair, I was very excited about these new products and couldn't wait to try them out for myself. The Enhanced Layers hairspray seemed to be a good bet, as it incorporates a micro-fine spray system, which lifts and holds layers in place while locking in movement.

I really liked this spray as it offered a very strong hold and kept upstyles, layers and even curls in place but still allowed for natural movement. Unlike many other hairsprays, this product kept hair in place without that 'crispy' feel and the effect lasted for hours. The scent of the spray was also quite subtle and pleasant.

I didn't notice any dramatic difference in the definition of my layers after application but it did keep that 'blow-dried' look for hours after I left the house and was more effective than any other hairspray I have used.

Overall I was really pleased with the performance of the Enhanced Layers hairspray and, at €5.49, it is an absolute bargain!
