I am always on the look out for a perfect daytime outfit that can take me from any location to any event or even non-event.

With the weather being so unpredictable, sometimes it is difficult to decide on what to wear, while comfort is a major issue when it comes to dressing during the day.

My outfit this week is bang on trend but also is bang on comfort for daytime dressing.

I would team this J Jeans by Jasper Conron embellished waistcoat from Debenhams, which is priced at €54, with a white tank, T or shirt in order to truly show-off the colours and embellishments of this amazing waistcoat.

Many people will not agree with my jean selection but I just love coloured jeans. I think they add something extra to any outfit because they are fun, funky and fresh. These purple zip high waisted skinny leg jeans are priced at £40 and are available from Topshop.com.

As this is a casual outfit, I have chosen a flat grey style pump from Topshop.com. These are priced at £25.

To complete this look, I have gone to one of Ireland's staple fashion stores, Penneys.

Quilted bags with golden chains were all over the red carpets this season, while celebrities have been really sporting the Channel bag lately.

This Penneys version is similar in design and style, however there is one big difference: the price tag. This red mock croc patent chain bag is priced at €9.
