The sun doesn't seem to be coming out anytime soon, so, as usual, it's time to crack out the bronzer in an attempt to look like you live somewhere with a half decent climate! But getting all golden and glowy can be a minefield if you use the wrong products.

First of all decide whether you want to highlight your eyes or lips, doing both is just overkill! Shimmery eyes are very dressy and perfect for a night. First of all, choose a good combination of brown shadows such as Rimmel's Colour Rush Quad Eyeshadow in Smokey Brun.

Apply a light shade of brown all over the lid, before filling in the crease of the eye with a darker shade. Blend towards the lashline. Line eyes with black kohl, followed by lots of mascara. Shade a little silver or white eyeshadow just under the eyebrows to finish.

Next apply bronzer to the areas of the face where the sun would normally hit – temples, nose, cheekbones and chin. Don't apply all over the face as this tends to look very artificial. Finish with a clear or tinted lipgloss for maximum impact.
