It has now been a number of days since my treatment and my skin has never looked better. All of my blocked pores have been eliminated and my skin has lost that dull look, being replaced with a glowing even complexion. Having been a little bit sceptical about the man the A-listers turn to in a skincare crisis, I have been totally converted and will definitely be returning for another treatment in the future. After my facial, Lisa and I headed to the spa's thermal suite and enjoyed experiences including a simulated beach, aroma room and rubbing ice onto our steamed skin – which is much more pleasant than it sounds! We rounded off our day with a beautiful meal in the Burren Panoramic suite before returning to our room for a nightcap on the balcony overlooking Lough Atalia and a blissful sleep. After reading the Sunday papers and enjoying breakfast in bed, we checked out the next day feeling relaxed and happy and as if we had returned from a week-long holiday. During our stay, we were bowled over by the attention given to us by everyone from the spa manager to the restaurant staff, who made us feel very welcome and taken care of. So if you are feeling a little stressed out and in need of a little TLC, plan your own mini-spa break at www.radissonhotelgalway.com or phone 091-538462. |
