Getting in shape fast is never easy, but with a positive attitude it can be done! According to Rachel Boyle, all that hard work and sweat is all worth it when you slip into those skinny jeans or start to see the beginnings of your very own six-pack.

Rachel is originally a Galway girl but spent 14 years in sunny California, where she became involved in fitness through distance running. Terryland Fitness, located in Terryland Retail Park on the Headford Road, opened up in June of this year and is fast becoming the place to go in Galway to get in shape.

"The hardest thing is just getting started, so I make sure that the workout is intense and fun. With two or three weekly workouts, results can be seen in as little as four weeks.

"Physical exercise is a great stress buster and, with our hectic lifestyles nowadays and unfortunate weather, it's easy to get discouraged and say 'well I've no time' and settle into the sofa for the winter months.

"I've been working as a fitness professional for years now and have heard all the excuses, but in the end it's really just about making that decision to do something positive for yourself. Once a person can do that, I'm there with them every step of the way…their success is my success," says Rachel.
