Galway's Vegetarians and Vegans Society will celebrate World Vegetarian Day this Saturday, October 6 at 2pm on the corner of Shop Street and Mainguard Street, with a piece of street theatre. All spectators are welcome. The society meets in Massimo's Pub the first Thursday of every month at 8pm to discuss issues relating to vegetarianism and veganism. Veggies and non-veggies alike are welcome or visit their website at http://www.galwayveg.activeg.org/news/index.html.
