An award-winning Galway hairdressing is set to go for gold at the European Championships later this summer. Bellissimo's Louise Jordan is hoping to continue her success at the awards in September, after claiming two gold medals and one bronze medal at the IHF championships in March. Louise began her career as a hairdresser in Ballina, Co. Mayo but her passion for hairdressing brought her to Galway in 2003, in an attempt to further her experience in the competition arena. This decision proved to be life changing for Louise. She was invited onto the Irish Hairdressing Team in January 2008 by Maeve O'Healy Harte and this opportunity has proven to be mammoth for the hairdresser. Louise has established herself in Bellissimo as an Elite Stylist and her credentials in competition work have only added to her esteemed reputation. Her accomplishments began in March 2008, when she was awarded with two gold medals and one bronze medal in the IHF Championships in Dublin. Louise has gone from strength to strength ever since and has subsequently been awarded with two gold medals and one silver medal in the European Championships in Athens. The next step for this up-and-coming star is to get ready for the European Championships in Paris, which are held in September. There is always a need for models for these competitions, so if you are interested and would like to experience the thrills and highs that go with a winning team, please go along to Bellissimo and talk to Louise. |
