Plastic surgery, mammography, vascular surgery and knee arthritis are the topics to be featured in a Healthwatch Evening in the Galway Clinic tomorrow, Thursday 27 September, at 7.15pm.

Galway Clinic Consultants, Mr Jack Kelly, Ms Rachel Ennis, Mr Sherif Sultan, and Mr Derek Bennett will provide information and advice on the latest medical advances in these areas.

Announcing the autumn Healthwatch Information Evenings, Denis Coen, General Manager, Galway Clinic said: "We received a huge response from members of the public to our Spring Healthwatch Evenings and have decided to continue them into the autumn.

"These meetings are a unique opportunity for members of the public to visit the Galway Clinic and hear first hand from our specialists about advances in plastic surgery, breast cancer detection, vascular surgery and knee arthritis.

"Of interest to many will be Mr Jack Kelly?s presentation on plastic surgery. A highly experienced plastic surgeon, Mr Kelly will use patient case studies to illustrate the increase in reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery in the West of Ireland."
