They say, once you go personal, you'll never go back. Terryland Fitness will open its doors on Monday 23 June and promises to be one of the most exciting things to happen to fitness in Galway in years.

Personal trainer and owner Rachel Boyle is originally from Galway but spent 14 years in California, after moving there as a teenager with her family. After becoming involved in track and cross-country running, Rachel's interest in fitness grew. She has been working in Ireland for six years and has just moved to Galway from Dublin, where she was one of the most sought-after trainers at the Westwood Club, one of the largest fitness clubs in Ireland. She has now decided to bring her expertise to the West, specialising in weight loss, fat loss, strength, sports performance and pre-natal fitness.

"People want results and that's what I have built my business on. They are sick of joining gyms and not going, or not getting results. Basically, once you've had personal training, you'll never give it up," she says.

Terryland Fitness, located on the Headford Road beside Dunnes Stores, offers fat-blasting bootcamps, body sculpting, pilates classes and personal training for corporate groups, bridal parties, teams and schools. For your free personal training consultation or to register for a class, contact Rachel at Terryland Fitness on 086-1685207 or log onto www.terrylandfitness.com.
