Last year’s must-have accessory was Anya Hindmarsh’s eco-friendly canvas handbag and the trend for fashion with a cause is set to continue with the launch of a new Diane von Furstenberg Fashion Targets Breast Cancer tote.

Now in its fourth year, the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign has gone from strength to strength in Ireland and internationally through the sale of the bull's eye target t-shirts over the last three years. This year, Brown Thomas approached celebrated designer Diane von Furstenberg to develop an exciting product that would appeal to women of all ages.

The resulting limited edition bag is certainly the bag of the moment. It features an embroidered bull's eye target at the heart of the bag and carries DVF's distinctive signature. The beautiful tote bag is incredibly versatile and can be used for shopping, going to the gym or the beach, or as an overnight bag.

Inspired by DVF's spring/summer 2008 ‘Under the Volcano’ collection, this bright yellow hued canvas tote will be the must-have bag of the summer. The designer bag will retail for €45, with all proceeds raised going to Action Breast Cancer and Europa Donna Ireland. The tote is due to be launched exclusively at Brown Thomas and bt2 stores next month.
