| Engineering 'Week of Wonder' to take over Galway city |

A fun-packed programme of events is scheduled for Galway city for the
week of 19 to 23 February as part of 'Engineered: The Week of Wonder',
which aims to showcase the ingenuity and diversity of Irish
engineering.
Several major events will take place across the city over the course of the week, which is aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 14. There will be a Regional Treasure Hunt where 400 young people will be led on a trail around the chief engineering feats in the city with a chance to win a family trip to Euro Disney. A Wow! magic show will take place at the Town Hall Theatre where over 1,300 young people can experience the magic of engineering with an interactive show with demonstrations and experiments.
