Dance in aid of seriously ill local man

A Charity Benefit Dance in aid of a seriously ill local man will be held in the Clybaun Hotel, Galway on Thursday 22 February at 9.30pm.

The proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Knocknacarra family. The money raised will help with travel and accommodation expenses incurred while visiting their son who is seriously ill in a Barcelona hospital. Family members have been keeping a bedside vigil over the last couple of weeks in Spain and this has spurred members of the Knocknacarra community to raise funds for family concerned.

Tickets for the event will be sold door to door in housing estates around Knocknacarra over the coming weeks and it is expected the benefit night will be well supported. Vinnie Mongan and his band will provide the musical entertainment on the night.
