Galway is to play host to an international fashion event this October, which will raise funds for NBCRI Galway. La Jolie Femme, in association with ANU Image consultants, will take place on Thursday 30 October and will be hosted by former Miss World Rosanna Davidson at the Radisson SAS Hotel. The fashion show will see five designers showcase their most recent creations in an impressive ballroom filled with event lighting, rigging and staging systems supplied by Ard Solas Productions, an event production company which is new to Galway. Three international designers Zino Jordan, Luisa Rosselli and Kekatou currently only supply a limited number of boutiques around Ireland and this will be the unveiling of their latest designs. Irish designers Heart and Soul and Aoife O’Leary will also be taking part in the event, revealing designs not yet seen by the public. Many prizes will be available on the night, including three best-dressed lady awards and many more spot prizes. Sponsors to date include Lancome, Easifit Displays and Pulsar. Tickets, which are priced at €40, are available from the Lancome counter in Brown Thomas, Modesty Boutique in Athenry and Erego Boutique in Oranmore. Doors will open at 7pm sharp, with the catwalk show to begin at 8.30pm. For further information, contact Maureen on 087-7958330. |
