Powder can be a tricky thing to figure out; too heavy and you look like you applied your make-up with a trowel, too little and your makeup is sliding off your face in no time. However, L'Oreal's True Match Powder makes it a little easier to find that perfect finish.

This triple refined powder adapts to suit the texture of your skin and is oil-free and non-comedogenic. The super-blendable formula also contains pearl pigments for a light illuminating effect. The handy True Match compact comes with an application sponge but I found that using a powder brush gave a more subtle effect.

I really liked this product, as it did live up to my initial expectations. The powder sets foundation beautifully without changing the colour or dulling the skin, and lasts for hours. I would definitely recommend this to people with an oily complexion as it stops shine and is very portable for touch-ups throughout the day.

The only drawback with the True Match powder was the light coverage. While I liked the invisible effect of the product, those looking for more concentrated coverage may want to look elsewhere.
