Autumn is the season of evening classes and self-improvement, but this year why not combine education with enjoyment by taking a wine tasting class?

This October, Lohan's of Salthill will begin its annual wine tasting classes. A mix of learning a new skill and improving your social life is always a winner, and with plenty of wine and nibbles the winter evenings won?t seem so long and dreary.

Classes will begin next Wednesday, 3 October, and take place every Wednesday thereafter until 31 October at Lohan's in Salthill. The price of €20 for one class includes tasting of the eight wines, cheese and meat board as well as a talk by the wine speaker and tasting notes. Places are restricted and must be booked in advance.
