It's that time of year again! The hair appointments are booked, the social events arranged, now the only thing left to do is find that perfect Ladies' Day dress!

Luckily, high street favourite A|wear has just launched a number of fabulous new looks at their Edward Square store.

Lia Tallon, A|wear's very own stylist to the stars, has picked her six must haves for the summer season and, with prices starting from as little as €50, there are plenty to see you through the social whirl of summer.

"Summer is all about colour and purple is one of the hottest to hit the catwalk this season. From light shades of lilac to deeper tones of electric purple, there is definitely a shade and style to suit everyone.

"The LBD also makes a comeback for August but these are not your standard black dresses. Think lace detail, diamonds and flowing chiffon fabrics. Black definitely doesn't have to be boring for summer; brighten the look with a patent oversized clutch in shades of purple or silver.

"One of my favourite dresses is the deep purple ruffle dress. A real classic for not only the races but for all your summer parties and weddings. Complete the look with a pair of fab patent court shoes and invest in a belted full Mac, a chic addition to any race outfit and also very on trend," says Lia.

The fabulously detailed purple ruffle dress retails at just €60, while the little black dress is a steal, again just €60! We also love this silk one-shouldered mini dress, which retails at €50. The dresses are due to come into A|wear stores in the next two weeks, so keep those eyes open!
