Dear Editor,
I refer to your recent published very critical letter in relation to me.

As I pointed out last week the letter writer Peadar MacDonnacha, Lakeview, Upper Newcastle is not a registered voter at Upper Newcastle nor does the letter writers name appear on the city council register as attending city council meetings.

I took the opportunity to write to this 'phantom name' and not to my surprise my letter was 'returned' by An Post, with no such person at that address.

I will welcome criticism at any time on any issue. So let the real letter writer now stand up.
