Dear Editor,
We have got some bad news. The dog litter situation in Galway is a disgrace. We have seen it ourselves on the streets and in the parks. Nearly everyone in Galway looks down when they walk because there is dog litter everywhere.
When people walk their dogs, they should bring something to pick up their
dog litter. Nobody else will do it for them. If they just walk off, they are
just being lazy.
The city council should hire more litter wardens to catch people who are
letting their dogs litter. It's against the law. Also, the city council should put up more signs and bins with bags for dog litter.
This is not a joke because we see dog poo everywhere we go.
