Page 1 of 2 Dear Editor, Mr Farrell, are you a peaceful man? Do you think and speak words of peace, harmony, love, brotherhood, understanding and tolerance? Do you speak well of others? Do your actions support harmony, love, peace, brotherhood, understanding and tolerance? Do your friends in the GAAW do this? Do you understand the nature and purpose of man's existence on earth? Can you see any correlation between the failure of religion, the widespread ignorance of spirituality, the triumph of the unlimited free-market and materialism, and the current negative messages proposed by the press and media and the television stations on the one hand, and the continuing breakdown of society, the corrupt political system, and presence of wars and more destructive wars to come? What and who informs the mind, the conscience and the thinking processes which underpin the misguided, evil and negative actions of mankind? Obviously, it is the priests, vicars, preachers, bishops, mullahs, rabbis, press and media owners, television station owners, multi-millionaires, etc. who have misinformed and misguided the mind and conscience of mankind. Mr Farrell, these wars, which you and a lot of people oppose, are the final link in a chain of causation. They are the final link, the end link. In other words, they an inevitable outcome. Nothing you can do or anybody else can do can prevent them. This chain of causation begins with spiritual ignorance, intellectual laziness and an unwillingness to understand man's true spiritual purpose on this earth. Greed, division, hatred, social injustice, envy, intolerance, acceptance of vast inequalities, egoism, fault-finding, gossiping, maliciousness, aggression etc are the next links along this chain of causation. By the time social upheaval, widespread drug abuse, violent crime and wars emerge at the final part of this chain of causation, it is already too late. The pattern has been set, the negativity and spiritual ignorance feeds on itself, creating further negative chains of causation. Even those supposedly opposed to war are tied up in the negativity of hatred, division, envy, maliciousness etc. They become unwitting supporters of the factors perpetuating war and war itself without realising it, even though they claim to be against war. |
