Light rail details, please E-mail

Dear Editor,
The city council has been informed of the details leading to having a light rail system in the city.

Perhaps the light rail group will inform the citizens of this city of the details.

Print in a local paper, a map of Galway of decent size so that all can see the light rail routes.

Give details of the maximum width from the outside of the concrete pad, on which people will wait, to the outside of the train. Inform how many houses are to be knocked down to give road space.

How many trees will be felled? Tree lovers in City Hall take note. How many car parking spaces in front of hotels will be lost? How many walls will be knocked and rebuilt metres away? How many front gardens will be sacrificed for the light rail? Will compensation be paid in all above cases?

Thanks you,
Your faithfully,
K.G. Kelly,
Master Mariner,
63 Dun Na Mara Drive,
Renmore,
Galway
