Dear Editor,
I note from your main story last week by Deirdre O'Shaughnessy that nobody purchased copies of the Irish language translations of the EIS reports on the Galway City Outer Bypass.

One might equally report that no copies of the Galway Independent were purchased last week.

The fact is that the NRA were giving away copies of the EIS 'as Gaeilge' and I have seen at least three copies myself in public circulation and I know that, although not complete, they have been welcomed by muintir na Gaeltachta as going some small way towards recognising their rights.
