Local businesses are being invited to learn from employment law and debt recovery experts Berwick Solicitors at a free breakfast seminar this month.
The event, in Hotel Meyrick, on Wednesday 23 November, will feature key tips on how to avoid common pitfalls in the minefield of employment law for small, medium and large sized businesses.
The breakfast event will be an excellent educational and informative seminar for businesses who will be given a basic appreciation of employment law, to minimise risks of litigation when it comes to contracts, bullying and harassment cases and employee claims.
David Higgins, Employment Partner at Berwick Solicitors will deliver the seminar and outline the basic steps that business should take to put procedural processes in place to minimise risks of litigation.
“It’s important for business owners and managers to resolve issues with employees at an early stage before they snowball into serious problems. Having proper structures in place can reduce the exposure of businesses to personal injury and employment claims,” said David Higgins.
In addition to advice on employment law, there will be a brief seminar on recovering outstanding debts. James Seymour, Partner at Berwick Solicitors will advise attendees on how to promptly deal with debtors in a cost efficient manner. Berwick Solicitors specialises in debt recovery.
