The third in a three part series of modern dance pieces at the Town Hall Theatre, Junk Ensemble’s ‘Falling Song’ shows how wings can quickly be replaced by crutches.
Performed by an international all male cast and a local children’s choir, The Falling Song looks at the nature of flying and falling and the dangerous relationship between the two.
Featuring a set comprised of towering ladders, ropes and hundreds of apples, male physicality is pushed to the extreme, exploring self-destruction, failure and invincibility.
The Falling Sing comes to the Town Hall Theatre on Monday, 7 April at 8pm. Tickets, priced at €16, with €14 concessions are available from www.tht.ie or 091-569777.
